Week 62: MILAGROS.* (*MIRACLES.)

Pensamiento Espiritual* (*Spiritual Thought): Alma 7:5
P-Day! :) Today was my day of cooking. I made flan and caramel sauce in mugs and pancakes (in the sandwich maker ;) )! We also bought maple syrup to go with our pancakes and WOW was that delicious. Do not take that stuff for granted. :) We decided to play card games the rest of the afternoon and relax. :) We then went to Otilia, member, and Lucho, investigator, and set up a noche de hogar cita* (*Family Home Evening appointment) and planned to make completos with them! :D
We started Tuesday off with a district meeting, where we memorized the introduction of the LDM* (*Book of Mormon)! :) After lunch, we had divisions! I went to Pilcomayo with Hna Diaz from Columbia! It was fantastic to get to know her and discover our similarities. We even have the same favorite scripture. :D We visited lots of fantastic people! Pilcomayo´s a lot more rural, so it was a good break from Tambo's city. :) Here in Tambo, our investigator Luis committed to keep the Word of Wisdom and said that in 2 days he should know his answer about the Church and if he should be baptized! :D
Wednesday! We finished up Pilcomayo's divisions and did practices before heading out to contact. :) After lunch, we started a special fast for Luis, investigator, so that he can receive his answer! :) We went to Teresa and Nicolas, investigators, and read the LDM* (*Book of Mormon) and then headed over to Leonardo and Mary, investigators, and taught them about the Articles of Faith, leaving Costa's talk from Gen Conf as tarea* (*homework)! :D Luego* (*Then), we had a Noche de Hogar* (*Family Home Evening) with Jesica, investigator, and Fernando, reactivating, and watched the Testaments with them! Good day. :)
On Thursday, we contacted lots in the feria* (*fair)! We finished up our special fast and then headed over to visit LinSu, investigator! We read a bit of 2 Nephi 2 with her before visiting Xiara and Arturo, less actives, and talking about the Lord's help. :) Everyone fell through after, and I had a thought to go to Judith and Jose Luis, less actives, and justo they needed someone to take pastries to the church for a wedding! So we helped them out. :)
Viernes* (*Friday)! I went on divisions to Los Andes with Hna Wilson from Riverton, Utah! It was a fun day. :) We got caught in a hailstorm, talked about Quidditch and Hamilton, and visited lots of fantastic people! :D just a brilliant time. I got to practice Italian with my favorite converso* (*convert) from there, who's now their pension, and she bought us a pizza. :D
On Saturday, I came back to Tambo to the news of a miracle- Luis got his answer! that yes, he needs to be baptized! So that was just brilliant. FASTING WORKS, PEOPLE. :D He had his baptismal interview after lunch and passed! Such a blessing. Luego* (*Then), we taught English class and had correlacion missional* (*mission correlation meeting) to plan Luis and Leonardo's baptisms for next Saturday! Brilliant day. :)
Domingo* (*Sunday)! Church was good, as usual. :) And in studies, I finished Joshua, Judges, Ruth, and 1 Samuel! Getting my Antiguo Testamento lectura* (*Old Testament reading) done. :) After lunch, a man confronted us in the street and swore at us and threatened to bomb our chapels, so that was a bit scary, but we were able to get away just fine. :) We contacted before visiting Leonardo and Mary, investigators, and reading La Familia* (*The Family)! Leonardo set his baptism time for Saturday afternoon. :) We then contacted lots before going to Loysi's (member) and helping her write a talk. :)
We've seen straight up MILAGROS* (*MIRACLES) this week! Through lots of fasting and prayer, Luis got and answer and he and Leonardo are preparing to get baptized on Saturday the 29th! Please keep praying for them. :)
